Students have the opportunity to learn about neurological diseases by following a preceptor during this clerkship.  They will be given assignments to a specific preceptor at orientation and in materials distributed by the Psychiatry Clerkship.  Three weeks of the eight-week block will be spent on neurology and the remaining five weeks will be spent on psychiatry.  You can view the schedule of preceptor/faculty assignments for the current block on the Psychiatry Clerkship website at http://main.uab.edu/uasom/2/show.asp?durki=89794.
