Tuscaloosa Instructional Departments in the Clinical Sciences

The Tuscaloosa Program has 35 full-time and faculty members, augmented by a volunteer faculty of over 160 area physicians and health professionals. In addition, a staff of 36 resident physicians in family medicine participates in the medical school program.

This results in a high level of personal interaction among students, resident physicians, and faculty, with excellent faculty to student ratios--usually 1:1 to 1:3 in most clinical settings and 1:6 in lectures.
