Searching can be done in a variety of ways.
- Page Title-this searches only words in the page title
- Full-Text Keyword Search-this search checks all words on a page
The simplest searches will retrieve the most results; a more complex search will retrieve fewer results but may be more relevent to your query.
- You may format your query in the following ways:
- Single Word Search, e.g. chemistry
- Multiple Word Search:
Use the most simple form of the word i.e. parking permits would bring up better results just putting in "parking" or "permit" with no "s".
Use AND to combine search terms that appear anywhere on the Web page, e.g. drama and English,
Use OR to search for the presence of one term or another in search results, e.g. training or courses.
