The Mission of the Department of Dermatology is: 1) to be and to produce the highest quality, compassionate, ethical physicians and healthcare personnel who are committed to the care and service of the dermatology patients they serve; 2) to generate new knowledge through basic and clinical research that will ultimately lead to disease prevention and improved patient care; and 3) to provide the highest quality, state of the art care to patients with dermatologic disease in a compassionate, ethical and cost effective manner.
