The UAB Department of Dermatology is committed to the education and training of dermatology residents. Programs are individualized to resident interests. Both a three year clinical program and a two year clinical experience followed by two years of research are offered. During the three-year dermatology curriculum each resident will acquire knowledge of clinical dermatology, dermatopathology, and dermatologic surgery. Our mission is to produce high-quality, compassionate, ethical physicians who are committed to continued learning and to the care and service of the patients they serve.
