ANNOUNCEMENTS AND OVERVIEW-
a- Discussion of last year’s big problem and debate about e-wall. Too few people to put anything to vote.
b- Steve Smith handed out breakdown of Budget.
1) FUNDING AND FINANCES(handout)
A-In past senate could count on $9-10,000 in annual deposits.
B-This year to date Total deposits= $6,502.00
C-Budget projections placed conservatively would place the estimated deposits for this year at $9.00 /student( $5,760.00 based on 160/class)
D-Existing Commitments- Current Balance= $13,183.00

2) GRANT REVIEW
A- discussion about how much funds to make available from GRB. Decided to take up next meeting. Tentative deadline for application set for the first of October.
3) ADMISSION ADVISORY COMMITTEE-
Joseph Wu and David Eisenberg are representatives. Discussion of a new idea of UASOM students allowing visiting students to stay with them for a night. A sum of money would be given to these students to take the visitor out. No decision was made.
