The Pediatric Surgery Services at The Children's Hospital of Alabama are an integral part of the General Surgery Training Program. The Children's Hospital of Alabama is the tertiary care referral center for the state of Alabama and much of the southeast region of the United States. At UAB, children receive the same outstanding level of care that adults do. UAB physicians provide a broad variety of pediatric medical and surgical services through Children's Hospital, which is located within the UAB Medical Center. UAB pediatricians also provide neonatal care for infants at UAB Hospital.
