UME Responsibilities This office strives to provide an optimal education experience for all medical students. Our purpose is to identify specific educational goals to anticipate the resources necessary to their accomplishment and to design and implement programs that can best serve all three campuses. We are responsible for the cohesiveness and continuity of educational programs on all three campuses. We encourage our personnel to serve all academic departments and to share the common goals of undergraduate medical education. The several divisions within this office are designed to meet the needs of the School of Medicine by making the best use of space, equipment, supplies, and personnel.
