¡Bienvenidos!
The Medical Spanish Group is a student-led group that desires to get medical students excited about Spanish and interested in learning more. We have weekly classes of all levels taught by fellow students where we focus on learning the practical aspects of medical Spanish so that students will feel more comfortable to encounter Spanish-speaking patients on the wards.
We also want to be involved in the Hispanic community of Birmingham and participate in local happenings around town and volunteer with various organizations that focus on the Hispanic population.
If you have any interest at all in learning Spanish, we'd love to have you join us. Whether you're interested in starting from scratch, brushing up on what you know already, or using what you know to help teach others, we have a place for you!
