Dr. Fast joined the UAB faculty in 1997. He was previously with the Institute of Biological Physics in Pushchino, Russia, and with the Department of Physiology, University of Berne, Switzerland. He has authored 40 peer-reviewed journal articles and 13 reviews and book chapters.
