The Associate Provost directs activities and shares responsibilities with deans and program directors to ensure UAB has curricula of superior quality and strengthens recruitment of a diverse student population.
Programs
The Associate Provost oversees undergraduate education at UAB through the following programs and activities:
- Undergraduate Programs Council
- Quality Enhancement Plan
- Honors Academy- University Honors, Science and Technology, Global and Community Leadership Honors, Early Acceptance Programs (Medical, Dental, and Optometry)
- Academic Engagement- Study Away, Service Learning, Undergraduate Research
- Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM)
- Exploratory Studies & Academic Student Success
