Financial Aid Information
The University of Alabama at Birmingham maintains an Office of Student Financial Aid to assist students who show a sincere desire to obtain an education but are unable to do so without financial assistance. UAB attempts to assist as many students as possible and encourages students who can demonstrate academic promise and financial need to apply for financial assistance.
Veterans' Benefits
Veterans who are accepted for enrollment and are eligible for financial assistance through the Veterans Administration should file an application with the Office of Veterans Affairs. Since six to eight weeks are required to process an application, the necessary forms should be filed well in advance of anticipated matriculation date.
