If you are a
NEW freshmen, you will register for classes when you attend the required Goin' Green New Student Orientation. To reserve your spot at Goin' Green, please click on
www.uab.edu/orientation for instructions and on-line reservation forms.
If you are a
NEW degree-seeking transfer student, you will also register for classes when you attend the required New Student Orientation for Transfer Students. Please go to
www.uab.edu/orientation to learn more and make reservations.
If you are a new non-degree seeking student, post-baccalaureate student, or former UAB student, New Student Orientation is NOT required; however, you are welcome to attend orientation. You may register for classes during open registration. Click on the links below for more information on how to register for classes.
In order to attend classes during any academic term, first you have to register. You are eligible to register if:
- you have been admitted to UAB
- you have attended orientation
- your financial records with Student Accounting Services are in good order
- you are in good standing, which means you are not on academic or disciplinary suspension
Individuals are not allowed to attend university courses unless officially enrolled for class through the appropriate registration process.
