The Mission Statement of the UAB Division of Student Affairs
The Division of Student Affairs at UAB creates an environment that enables student learning
by providing opportunities for all students to optimize their educational experience
and maximize their holistic development.
In keeping with our mission statement, the Division of Student Affairs at UAB coordinates all non-academic student activities including recruitment and retention, registration, scholarships, financial aid, on-campus housing, food service, career services, student support services, counseling and student life. This division also administers services for international scholars and students.
