The Clinical Laboratory Sciences program (CLS) encourages and supports continuing professional growth. One method of demonstrating professional growth in clinical laboratory sciences is progression from medical laboratory technician (MLT) to medical technologist (MT).
The program recognizes that the skills and knowledge possessed by a medical technologist include the competencies of the MLT.
The MLT Articulation Program was developed to facilitate the professional progression from MLT to MT. For most MLT graduates, the articulation program takes two years to complete as a full time student.
