Lucretia Johnson, a senior in the Health Information Management Program participated in the Sixth Annual University of Alabama System Honors Research Day on April 20, 2007 on the Huntsville campus. Lucretia’s oral presentation on “Implementation of the Electronic Health Record among Alabama Hospitals” was awarded first place with a cash award at the Session 1 competition. In addition, her presentation will be published in the Proceedings of the Sixth Annual University of Alabama System Honors Research Day. Lucretia’s mentor is Shannon Houser, PhD, assistant professor in the BSHIM Program.
