Dr. Claire Peel has been chosen a Catherine Worthingham Fellow of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). The APTA Board of Directors established the Catherine Worthingham Fellows of the Association "to recognize those persons whose work has resulted in lasting and significant advances in the science, education, and practice of the profession of physical therapy." This distinguished award recognizes exemplary leaders in physical therapy education, science, and practice. Dr. Peel was recently named Interim Associate Provost for Faculty Development and Faculty Affairs at UAB. She previously served as Associate Dean for Academic and Student Affairs for the School of Health Professions.
