We offer an entry level Doctor of Physical Therapy and a post-professional Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Beginning fall 2011, the Department of Physical Therapy in conjunction with the Department of Occupational Therapy will offer a PhD in Rehabiliation Science.Our graduates are acclaimed professionals who help patients overcome the effects of disease, injury, and developmental abnormalities through the use of scientific principles in not only hospitals and clinics, but also in sports medicine, industry, consultation, and research.
