HR Training and Development has a group of instructors dedicated to providing information and instruction that users of Oracle Administrative Systems need to use the system effectively. The team is responsible for developing various methods for assisting users of the system.
Classes are offered on all of the human resource and finance modules that comprise the Oracle Administrative Systems. Please click here for a description of all the Oracle classes offered. 3. Weekly computer clinics
The Oracle Administrative Systems Instruction and Development team is available every Thursday afternoon from 2:00 to 3:30 in AB B60 computer classroom to assist users of the Oracle Administrative systems with the following:
2:00 – 3:30
General assistance resolving problems related to creating documents, running reports or locating information (users may come and go during the 2:00-3:30 time period)
2:00 – 2:30
Approving or Certifying Effort Reports (must have UAB Effort Report User responsibility)
2:30 – 3:00
Reporting Biweek Time Using the TEL Document (must have UAB TEL responsibility)
3:00 – 3:30
Using UAB Self Service Applications (anyone with UAB Self Service Applications responsibility)
4. Special training sessions
For groups needing training or assistance with specific processes that use Oracle, special sessions will be scheduled to assist that department/group. To request a special session, email instructeam@uab.edu.
