Birmingham Training Schedule
WST offers a limited number of classes on a fee-supported basis. Individual trainees may attend courses offered on an open-enrollment basis. Employers may choose to contract with WST to have courses provided for groups of employees. Contract courses can be provided at UAB and at host training sites on request. For information contact us.

Confined Space Entry and Rescue Training

Hazardous Materials
These courses comply with OSHA’s 29 CFR 1910.120 (q) (6) with added elements from NFPA 472, most sections of the Hazard Communication standard (29 CFR 1910.1200) and the recognition and identification sections of DOT’s Hazardous Materials Employee training requirements.

Hazardous Waste Training
Courses for the hazardous waste site worker or for hazardous waste management.

Incident Management Systems
This training program addresses OSHA 1910.120 and NFPA 472, Standard for Professional Competency of Responders to Hazardous Materials Incidents. It outlines a logical, systematic process for responding to and managing hazmat emergencies. Using problem solving workshops and table top exercises you will learn, pre-planning and incident management, personnel assignments for emergency operations and assessing site safety.
