UAB Style Guide

Maintaining a consistent public image for UAB is all a matter of style. It's one way that we--as a diverse university, a world-renowned academic health system, and a community leader--can put our best face forward and promote our strengths.

The UAB Office of Public Relations and Marketing should approve in advance any contract or agreement with external groups employed to produce advertising or other promotional materials for units of UAB, and must review and approve those advertisements or materials prior to their production or publication in the marketplace.

Use of the UAB logo in conjunction with the logos or marks of other organizations (including corporate sponsors and government entities) in any publication, advertisement or other external communication material, should be reviewed by the UAB Office of Public Relations and Marketing or, for patient-related materials, UAB Health System Marketing.
