| The purpose of the Account Statements is two-fold. First, for the Oracle General Ledger application, the Account Statement Transaction Reports substitute for online transaction screens, because the Oracle software product did not provide online screens for transactions by account string. Second, for both the Oracle General Ledger application & the Oracle Grants Accounting application, the official monthend string-level reports are issued using the Account Statements.
