Dr. Dure has served as Division Director of Child Neurology for the Department of Pediatrics at UAB since 2003. He is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with special qualification in child neurology. He is licensed to practice medicine in the States of Alabama and Texas.

Specialty / Interests
Pediatric Neurology: Clinical research dealing with movement disorders in childhood. The scope of these efforts has included industry-sponsored as well as investigator-initiated drug trials, as well as basic natural history and epidemiologic investigations. Another similar area deals with clinical trials in Huntington's disease.
