Dr. Paige, a native of Chattanooga, Tennessee, joined the Department of Neurology in July of 2004 with an appointment as Assistant Professor of Neurology. He completed a fellowship in Epilepsy and Clinical Neurophysiology at Yale University School of Medicine from 2002-2004 and prior to that an internship in Internal Medicine and a Neurology residency at Yale.

Dr. Paige has an impressive educational background and interesting work experience in engineering. In 1982, he received a B.A. degree in biology/chemistry from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from UT-Knoxville in 1985, an M.S. degree in biomedical engineering from the Univeristy of Miami in 1994, and his M.D. degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine in 1998. He is currently with the UAB Epilepsy Center located in the Civitan Center building.
