CORD ChemBridge
| ChemBridge provides area 8th grade graduates with an exciting journey into big time chemistry, including stimulating hands-on experiments, great UAB faculty and staff to help with understanding of the chemistry behind the experiments and preparation for the high school experience.
ChemBridge is a non-residential summer program designed for rising 9th grade students. It is a two-week, five-day per week (8am-5pm) introductory hands-on laboratory and seminar course in Chemistry.
A partnership between the UAB Department of Chemistry and CORD (Center for Community OutReach Development), ChemBridge will promote student's interest and knowledge of chemistry by introducing them to principles, methods, applications, and experiments used in chemistry research laboratories.
