The UAB Arthritis and Musculoskeletal Center (AMC) ranks among the world's top arthritis research centers. The center was one of the nation's first comprehensive arthritis centers supported by the National Institutes of Health and is the only center in North America designated by the World Health Organization as a collaborating center for the study of rheumatic diseases.
