Clinical Research Collaboration Opportunities
Merge2.jpg

The UAB Alzheimer's Disease Center is engaged in cutting-edge research to better understand the diagnosis and treatment of illnesses related to dementia. A major emphasis of our research is the maintenance of a clinical research database comprised of neurological, medical, and neuropsychological test data from over 1,000 participants seen in our ADRC Clinical study since 1999, many of whom have been followed for several years in the study. One of the intents of maintaining this database is to provide access to researchers interested in Alzheimer's disease and to encourage collaborative research efforts. The database has been placed into an online database management system: the ADRC Online Database. This system maintains unparallelled data management capabilities and provides a means to enhance collaborations with other investigators.

The links on this page provide further details regarding the contents of the ADRC Online Database, suggested topics for collaborations, information regarding requests for data usage and collaboration, as well as policies regarding data use from the ADRC Online Database.
