THIS SESSION HAS BEEN CANCELED. STAY TUNED FOR MORE INFORMATION ON FUTURE HEALTHY LIVING BROWNBAG SEMINARS.
Learn how to make SMART resolutions with UAB clinical psychologist and author Josh Klapow during the Healthy Living Brownbag Seminar at 11:30 a.m. January 10 in Room 411 of the Hill University Center.
Dr. Josh, as he is known, is associate professor in the Department of Health Care Organization and Policy in the School of Public Health. He can be heard on Magic 96.5 FM on Mondays from 7 to 9 a.m. and can be seen locally hosting the weekly television segments Healthy Habits and The Healthy Action Minute on ABC 33/40.
Klapow’s new book is Living SMART: Five Essential Skills to Change Your Health Habits Forever. “Changing our habits is so universal, yet it’s something we don’t address as a topic,” he says. “We struggle with diet, exercise, sleep, stress or money. The common denominator in all of those things is change.” Visit his Web site at www.drjoshk.com.
Registration is required and is limited to 38 people. Light refreshments will be provided. E-mail Cassandra Walker by January 7 with your name, department, and campus phone number to reserve a seat.
