Cosmetic Treatment for Spider Veins

Before cosmetic treatment can begin, a complete venous evaluation is performed to ensure that any underlying vein conditions are treated, thereby enhancing cosmetic results.   

• Sclerotherapy.  "Gold" standard for treatment of spider veins involving injection of sclerosant into the spider vein causing it to disappear.
• Veinwave.  Reserved for spider veins that are too small to be treated with sclerotherapy.  Uses thermal energy to cause very fine spider veins to fade.
