- Sclerotherapy. "Gold" standard for treatment of spider veins involving injection of sclerosant into the spider vein causing it to disappear.
- Veinwave. Reserved for spider veins that are too small to be treated with sclerotherapy. Uses thermal energy to cause very fine spider veins to fade.
