Grace Benton (International Studies major and University Honors Program student) has been selected as UAB’s first Clinton Scholar for a semester’s study at the American University in Dubai. Grace will be taking an Arabic language course, a Middle East Political Science course and a class in Islamic Studies. These will be excellent preparation for her proposed career to be a legal advisor for an NGO on development issues and human rights in the Middle East.
