Reading Outside the Classroom
“The Verbal Reasoning section of the MCAT exam is designed to assess your ability to understand, evaluate, and apply information and arguments presented in prose text.”
To enhance your preparation for the MCAT and other admissions tests for graduate programs it is highly recommended that you have a regular schedule of reading outside the classroom during your entire undergraduate education.
You may choose from a wide range of material including prose, non-fiction, philosophy, and classic literature. We have compiled lists of suggested reading both in printed form and web based formats to get you started.
