UAB Volunteer Opportunities

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has. -Margaret Mead

Whether it is community service for Into the Streets (volunteer outreach day), a monthly service project, an ongoing initiative, or a retreat, the council has a program to fit your schedule and time commitment.  Learn more about UAB's community service projects:

UAB's Student Leadership office houses the Leadership and Service Council, which offers creative service opportunities to learn leadership skills for problem-solving in student organizations and for personal improvement.  Any UAB student may attend its retreats, programs, and service events.  Each year the program awards two Emerging Leaders Scholarships to students with strong potential for leadership.
