Alpha Lambda Delta

Founded in 1924, Alpha Lambda Delta is a national honor society that recognizes and encourages academic excellence among first year students. Membership in Alpha Lambda Delta is open to full-time freshmen students who earn a GPA of 3.6 or better during their first term, or year at a four year college. Students are invited to join ALD after fall term grades are posted. A onetime payment of national and local dues is required to become a lifetime member of ALD.
  • Members are challenged to make a meaningful contribution to the society, and through their chapter, engage in community service projects, as well as campus service activities. We are involved with community service activities, fundraisers, social events, and so much more.
  • Alpha Lambda Delta members are eligible to compete for undergraduate scholarships and graduate fellowships.
  • A membership in ALD gives you opportunity for leadership positions
