If you declare nursing as your major, you will enter UAB as a pre-nursing student. To gain admission to the nursing program, the School of Nursing requires you to complete certain courses, out of class experiences, and a special application. You will be assigned a professional advisor in the Office for Exploratory Studies who will provide the information, support and encouragement you need.
