The UAB Office for Service Learning announces its "UAB National Alumni Society Service Learning Community Engagement Poster Awards".

IMPORTANT INFORMATION/DATES:

• Students in any course that integrating service in the community and academic learning may enter thecompetition, even if the course is not officially designated as a Service Learning Course. 

**Please email Norma-May Isakow to see if you qualify for this competition.**

• Submissions must be made to Norma-May Isakow via the Online UAB Drop Box at www.uab.edu/it/dropbox.

• Submissions can be made anytime from November 2, 2009- December 4, 2009.

• The "Top 10" posters will be on proudly displayed and winners will be annonced at the "UAB National Alumni Society Service Learning Community Engagement Awards Celebration" on January 27, 2010.

• Monetary prizes will be given to the "Top 3" poster submissions and will be awarded, as follows:

  • 1st Prize- $300.00

  • 2nd Prize- $200.00

  • 3rd Prize- $100.00
