CONNECTING WITH THE COMMUNITY THROUGH UAB
- UAB Student Life
UAB Student Involvement offers many opportunities for students to connect with each other and with the community of Birmingham. Whether it is community service for Into the Streets (volunteer outreach Day), a monthly service project, an ongoing initiative, or a retreat, UAB Student Life has a program to fit your schedule and time commitment.
In addition UAB's Student Leadership office houses the Leadership and Service Council, which offers creative service opportunities to learn leadership skills for problem-solving in student organizations and for personal improvement. Any UAB student may attend its retreats, programs, and service events. Each year the program awards two Emerging Leaders Scholarships to students with strong potential for leadership.
