If you have a medical emergency at any time, call 911 immediately or go to the UAB or closest emergency department.
If you have an illness and need advice/assistance when the Student Health Service office is closed (nights, weekends, and holidays), call the university paging operator at (205) 934-3411 and ask for the doctor on-call for Student Health Services. This will be the doctor on-call for UAB Family Practice also.
If you have UAB Student VIVA Health you can also go to the after hours and weekend clinics that they have listed on their site. See www.vivahealth.com
