Enrollment Verifications

Enrollment verification is an official confirmation from UAB that you are enrolled here as a student. Verifications are often required by organizations such as your financial aid lender, employer, insurance company, or credit card companies. The verification will also include your student status: full-time, half-time or part-time.

Enrollment verifications are provided by National Student Clearinghouse and by the Office of the Registrar. There is no charge for this service.



Enrollment Verification by National Student Clearinghouse

Verifications provided by the Clearinghouse are available online to view and print immediately. You may access verifications of the current term or a complete historical listing. To access the Clearinghouse verification:

  • Log in to BlazerNET
  • Click on the Student Resources tab
  • Click Banner Self-Service
  • Click on Student
  • Click Registration
  • Click Clearinghouse Student Self-Service Site. You will be directed to the National Student Clearinghouse website with further instructions.

Letters of Enrollment Verification

You may also request a letter of enrollment verification through the Office of the Registrar.
Please note that an overnight process is required. Letters will be available by 2:00 PM the next business day.

Current and past terms

For current and past terms, you may place the request online:

  • Log in to BlazerNET
  • Click on the Student Resources tab
  • Click Banner Self-Service
  • Click Student
  • Click Registration
  • Click Enrollment Verification Request. You will then be prompted to enter in the name and address/fax number to which the verification letter is to be sent. Once submitted, you may check the status of your request by clicking "View Status of Enrollment Verification Requests."

If you require an enrollment verification for a future term, you may use this PDF form.
