This will give students the chance to learn more about campus resources available to them. Multiple sessions at various times will:
- answer questions about getting involved and staying motivated
- focus on health and wellness
- provide academic support and planning tools
- help you manage financial aid
- prepare you for the next semester or graduation
The Academic Success Fair is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 6 on the Campus Green (rain location: Campus Recreation Center, Center Court).
It will be a tabletop informational expo featuring the wide variety of campus resources available to students, including financial aid, academic advising and career services, just to name a few.

The UAB Student Academic Success hotline is a resource for students to help them find academic support services. The hotline provides personal assistance for students who feel like they are having academic difficulties and don't know where to get help. UAB has many resources students may not know about or know how to contact. By calling the hotline, students can have a person help them connect with appropriate campus resources for assistance with their academic issues.
The hotline is manned Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Students calling outside of these times will be contacted the following work day.
