Alpha Mu Alpha
The major objective of Alpha Mu Alpha national honorary society is to recognize scholarship among marketing students.
Sigma Delta
Sigma Delta is the national honor society in the field of industrial distribution designed to recognize and encourage scholastic achievement and excellence in distribution management; unite faculties and students to develop and maintain high standards of education; provide economic assistance to outstanding members; and promote excellence in business and engineering practice.

Dentistry

Omicron Kappa Upsilon
A national dental honor society to promote and recognize leadership and scholarship and to honor character among students of dentistry and dental faculty.

Chi Sigma Iota--Zeta Chapter
Chi Sigma Iota is the international honor society for students, professional counselors and counselor educators established at Ohio University in 1985. Our mission is to promote scholarship, research, professionalism, leadership and excellence in counseling, and to recognize high attainment in the pursuit of academic and clinical excellence in the profession of counseling.

Kappa Delta Epsilon
Kappa Delta Epsilon is a national profesional education organization dedicated to the improvement of education. Members are nominated by the faculty and selected on their high academic achievement, their committment to education, and their service to the community. Members are committed to provide opportunities through education from every individual to attain the highest possible standards.
Kappa Delta Pi
Kappa Delta Pi is an honor society in education. It recognizes students that exhibit commendable personal qualities, worthy educational ideals, and sound scholarship.
Phi Beta Delta
Phi Beta Delta, first founded at California State University, Long Beach in 1986, was established as a national organization in 1987 with 38 chartered chapters. It is the first honor society dedicated to recognizing and encouraging high professional, intellectual and personal achievements in the field of international education.

Alpha Sigma Mu
Alpha Sigma Mu is the honorary metallurgical and materials engineering society designed to recognize outstanding students in these programs who attain high rank in scholarship and who posses the qualities of exemplary integrity, leadership, and initiative.
Eta Kappa Nu
Eta Kappa Nu Association is the international honor society for electrical and computer engineers. Outstanding persons are elected to Eta Kappa Nu primarily from the junior and senior classes. Graduate students and distinguished professional engineers are also eligible. Eta Kappa Nu continues to grow and to influence the progress of the electrical and computer engineering profession through its high ideals about scholarship, character, and service.
Pi Tau Sigma
Pi Tau Sigma is the national honorary mechanical engineering fraternity. It's objective is to foster the high ideals of the engineering profession, to stimulate interest in departmental activities, to promote mutual professional welfare, and to develop in students the attributes necessary for effective leadership and good citizenship.
Tau Beta Pi
Tau Beta Pi, the national engineering honor society, was founded to recognize engineering students of superior scholarship and outstanding character.

Sigma Tau Delta
Sigma Tau Delta is an international English honor society for English majors and minors with a GPA of 3.5 and above.

The Order of Omega is an honorary society which recognizes outstanding leadership and promotes excellence within the fraternity and sorority systems.

Alpha Lamda Delta
The purpose of this society is to encourage superior academic achievement among students in their first year in institutions of higher education, to promote intelligent living and a continued high standard of learning, and to assist women and men in recognizing and developing meaningful goals for their roles in society.

Golden Key International Honour Society
Golden Key is the world’s premier collegiate honor society, recognizing outstanding academic achievement and connecting high-achieving individuals locally, regionally and globally with lifetime opportunity, reward and success. Membership is by invitation only and is open for undergraduate and graduate students. The Society offers its members more than $500,000 annually through numerous scholarship and award programs. It also offers study abroad opportunities and discounts on many items like The New York Times, The Princeton Review classes (save $200), and several retail stores.

National Society of Collegiate Scholars
National Honory Society that recognizes first and second year students with high academic achievement. NSCS stands for knowledge, integrity, leadership, and service.
Omicron Delta Kappa
Omicron Delta Kappa is the Nationl Leadership Honorary Society. It brings together leaders from all phases of college life: academics; athletics; campus or community service; social and religious activities; journalism, mass media, and fine arts.
Phi Kappa Phi
The primary objective of the national honor society of Phi Kappa Phi is the recognition and encouragement of superior scholarship in all academic disciplines. The society holds that recognizing and honoring those persons of good character who have excelled in scholarship in any field will serve to stimulate others to strive for excellence.

Sigma Alpha Lambda
Sigma Alpha Lambda is a national leadership and honors organization dedicated to promoting and rewarding academic achievement and providing opportunity for community service, personal development, and professional fulfillment.

UAB Honors Program
The UAB Honors Program is an intensive sequence of interdisciplinary coursework designed for highly motivated undergraduates selected from all disciplines in the university. The program fosters academic excellence, cultural awareness, independent research, and active participation in the university life.
Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges
Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges exists as one of the most highly regarded and long standing honors programs in the nation. Recognition by the Who's Who program is based upon scholastic achievement, civic/community/and service organizations.

Alpa Eta Society
This is an honorary society for individuals devoted to scholarship in allied health.
Pi Theta Epsilon
Pi Theta Epsilon (PTE) was developed as a specialized honor society for occupational therapy students and alumni. Recognized by the Association of College Honor Societies, PTE recognizes and encourages superior scholarship among students enrolled in professional programs at accredited schools across the United States.

Phi Sigma is the national honor society devoted to the promotion of research and academic excellence in the biological sciences.

Political Science

Pi Sigma Alpha
Pi Sigma Alpha is the national political science honor society. The purpose of Pi Sigma Alpha is to stimlute scholarship and intelligent interest in political science. The Upsilon Mu Chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha at UAB recognizes academic excellence and promotes community service.

Pre-Health

Alpha Epsilon Delta
Alpha Epsilon Delta is the national pre-health honor society. The society's objective is to encourage and recognize excellence in pre-health scholarship; to promote cooperation and contacts between health care professionals and prehealth students and educators; to bind together similarly interested students; and to use its knowledge for the benefit of health organizations, charities, and the community.

Psi Chi
Psi Chi is the national honor society in psychology, founded in 1929 for the purpose of stimulating, and maintaining excellence in scholarship, and advancing the science of psychology. Membership is open to graduate and undergraduate men and women who are making the study of psychology one of their major interests.

Pi Alpha Alpha
Pi Alpha Alpha is the national honor society for students in the field of public administration. We admit the top 5% into the UAB chapter each spring at our spring reception.

The purpose of the society is to honor those who have attained excellence in the study the Spanish language, hispanic literatures and cultures; and to foster friendly relations and mutual respect between Spanish and English.
