Have your say in UAB's future through the Undergraduate Student Government Association (USGA), which represents students in the eight undergraduate schools plus the Division of General Studies. Getting involved is important because the USGA shares student issues, concerns, and viewpoints with the university administration. The organization also provides unlimited opportunities to learn leadership skills, whether you're an officer or participant in the regular meetings. Students elect new representatives every spring. USGA also plans several annual events such as the Fall Fest, All Night Skate, Angel Tree and Wing Fling. You can be involved in one of our committees to help plan these events.

Want a convenient way to pay for parking?
Beginning fall 2010 semester, residents of Blount Hall who need parking in the Blount Hall lot may have their parking fee added to their student account. All 2010-2011 Blount Hall residents will receive notification and information outlining the new application process. This option will become part of the initial housing contract process for future residents.
BlazerBucks services expanded
Many snack and drink vending machines on campus will soon accept BlazerBucks through the CampusCard program. Card readers on various machines will be installed by late May. Lister Hill and Sterne Libraries will also accept BlazerBucks for late fees and fines beginning in late May (Lister Hill) and late summer (Sterne).
HUC information sign to be installed
UAB current events and student information will soon be available through a new and improved Hill University Center electronic sign on the corner of 14th Street and University Boulevard. Installation of the new sign should be complete by early summer.
