Have your say in UAB’s future through the Undergraduate Student Government Association (USGA), which represents students in the eight undergraduate schools plus the Division of General Studies. Getting involved is important because the USGA shares student issues, concerns, and viewpoints with the university administration. The organization also provides unlimited opportunities to learn leadership skills, whether you’re an officer or participant in the regular meetings. Students elect new representatives every spring. USGA also plans several annual events such as the Fall Fest, All Night Skate, Angel Tree and Wing Fling. You can be involved in one of our committees to help plan these events.
Contact the Office of Student Involvement at 934-8020, stop by HUC 440 or email usga@uab.edu to learn more about the USGA and its agenda for upcoming meetings, held every other Friday beginning the first full week of classes each semester.
