Blaze appears at numerous sporting and community events. Required events are football games, and men's and women's basketball and volleyball games. Appearances at soccer, baseball, and softball games are occasionally required. Several scholarships for the mascot position are available. Members receive $500 for fall semester and $700 for spring semester.
