Layout: Blount Hall features two- and four-bedroom apartments on eight floors. Two people share two-bedroom units, and four people share four-bedroom units.
Apartments: Each apartment comes with a twin bed, chest, desk, and chair in each bedroom. The common area has one lounge chair, sofa, end table, dining room table with four chairs, microwave, dishwasher, oven, and refrigerator. Each bedroom includes a campus computer network connection, basic cable TV connection, and phone jack.
Eligibility: Sophomores and higher are eligible to live in Blount Hall.
Extras: Blount Hall has its own parking deck, fitness room, laundry rooms on every other floor, vending machines, and a multipurpose room. Local phone service is additional.

Rent
The amounts below show what each resident will pay for 12 months. Blount Hall leases are offered in either 9 month or 12 month options for the 4 bedroom units. Rates include all utilities, basic cable TV, and campus computer network connections. Telephone service is not included, but is available through a separate contract with telecommunications. Rates are subject to change. Housing fees are paid to UAB Student Accounting Services, 322 Hill University Center. Bills for housing fees are not mailed to students/parents/guardians.
