The Hill University Center Scheduling Office is responsible for scheduling not only the HUC's Meeting Rooms, Great Hall and Alumni Auditorium, but also the Dining Commons Plaza and the UAB Campus Green.
The HUC is also easily accessible to disabled individuals. Two automatic doors are available, one at the south entrance to the building, near the University Bookstore, and another at the west entrance on the second floor. Additionally, for hearing-impaired persons, assistive listening devices are available, subject to availability, for meetings held in the Alumni Auditorium or the Great Hall. Requests for special-need accommodations in meeting room facilities may be made by contacting the building manager through the Information Center in the main lobby.

The Dining Commons Plaza is located around the fountain between the Commons on the Green Dining (the Commons) and Blazer Hall. It is a perfect place for a group to set up an information table and catch students on the way to class or to eat.

UAB Campus Green, which is over 7 acres of green space and major sidewalks with pedestrian lighting, decorative architectural landscape elements, and muliple trees. The Campus Green is bordered by Blazer Hall, the Commons, the Campus Recreation Center, and Heritage Hall. Location, size and apperance make this area the perfect place for activities such as concerts, picnics and even receptions.
