How to Apply
- Attend one of the interest sessions
- Provide two letters of recommendation (from UAB faculty/staff or other professional)
- Turn in your completed application to International Scholar and Student Services in HUC 250 or the Smolian International House at 1600 10th Ave South before the specified deadline.
- Interviews are scheduled for Spring of each year at the Smolian International House.

Interest Sessions
Attendance at one of the following interest sessions is MANDATORY. All sessions take place at the I-House.
January 24 - 10:00 AM
January 25 - 4:00 PM
January 26 - 2:00 PM
January 27 - 1:00 PM
How to Apply
- Attend one of the above listed MANDATORY interest sessions
- Turn in completed application and sign-up for an interview at the Smolian International House at 1600 10th Avenue South by 5:00 PM on Friday, February 11, 2011. Interviews are scheduled for Wednesday, February 23 and Thursday, February 24, 2011 at the Smolian International House. Interviews are assigned on a first-come first-serve basis.
- Provide two recommendation forms; one must be from a UAB faculty/staff. Recommendations cannot come from family or friends. Completed recommendation forms must be received by application deadline in order for application to be considered complete.
