New Student Orientation is the most important step in becoming a Blazer. It's designed to connect you to the university and prepare you for success. During orientation you will:
- meet with faculty and academic advisors;
- register for classes;
- discuss academic expectations;
- discover resources designed to help you succeed;
- build a network of valuable campus contacts;
- explore opportunities and organizations that can help you get involved on campus;
- meet other students and build new friendships;
- set up your Blazer e-mail, get your CampusCard, and much, much more!
New Student Orientation is required for ALL degree-seeking students (except post-baccalaureate students) and spaces to attend are on a first come-first served basis, so you should plan for your preferred session early.
