Non-Certified Loans are for students who have a need for funds over and above the traditional financial aid budget. These private loans are not governed by the official medical school budget and do not require approval or endorsement of the Financial Aid office. Because these loan agreements are between the student and lender, a co-signer may be required.
These loans may be used for:
- Car repairs
- Financial assistance during a leave of absence
- Financial assistance between the first and second year
Students may apply to the lender by phone or Internet. Promissory notes and checks will be mailed directly to students.
