In addition, we help you explore ways to finance your education though the services of the Office of Financial Aid. Scholarships, grants and all of the various programs offered through Federal Financial Aid are administered here. Information about UAB and outside scholarships, federal financial aid and other funds to help you pay for college is all available when you click on www.uab.edu/financialaid and explore the options.
For new students, the Office of New Student Orientation and Parent Programs helps new students (and their parents) learn about our services and make the transition to UAB as smooth as possible. When you click on www.uab.edu/orientation, you will find information to insure that your learn to navigate successfully at UAB.
Enrollment Management also organizes and guides the activities of UAB's Parents Association. In addition to an extensive orientation for the parents of new students, there are social acitivities and newsletters specifically designed to help keep parents informed about the University and the activities and opportunities provided for students. We also provide a UAB Parent Hotline to address questions and concerns from the parents and guardians of incoming and current students and services that guide and assist the many International scholars and students that make UAB a vibrantly diverse community.
