The Center for Clinical and Translational Science is offering the "Vocabulary of Clinical and Translational Science" course weekdays, 4-6 p.m. Sept. 15-26 in the Kaul Building Finley Conference Center. To register contact Audrey Wrenn at 975-8333 or e-mail email@example.com.
This course introduces the principles of clinical and translational science to help prepare individuals to read and interpret medical literature and understand types of research design, conduct, analysis and interpretation. Attendance is mandatory for all UAB School of Medicine post-doctoral fellows beginning their fellowships in July 2008 and for those in their second year of training who did not attend this past year.
This course also is a training foundation for participants in UAB's Clinical and Translational Science Training Program, and it is open to all within the university who wish to attend.
